ABOUT

Founder Francesca Centioni has been teaching visual arts for over 20 years. Her holistic approach to teaching and learning often encompasses traditional processes with modern technologies, this provides a way in for building meaningful engagement and considering the role art plays in our everyday lives. By fostering a dynamic learning environment participants are encouraged to question, to be critical thinkers and to employ experimental, investigative and innovative approaches.

Francesca's background is in delivering and facilitating art experiences in both formal and informal educational settings including Museum of Childhood, October Gallery, Dulwich Picture Gallery and Hurst Lodge School. MA Arts & Learning graduate from Goldsmiths University, Francesca also completed her BA (Hons) in Fine Art Photography at Camberwell College of Arts, UAL and she has a PGCE in Education.


Francesca's practice is based on the use of analogue and alternative photographic processes. Interested in exploring and extending dialogues she interconnects print, collage and embroidery into her work. Recent exhibitions include Dulwich Festival: Artists Open House at Dulwich Picture Gallery 2019, #meetthemembers Exhibition at London Print Studio 2018 and Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2016.

Artist Facilitator Nikki Gardham is a painter, born in Essex, living and working in London. Nikki studied at Cambridge School of Art before being awarded a scholarship to the Royal Drawing School, completing the postgraduate Drawing Year in 2013. 


Nikki divides her time between painting in her studio in Wapping and running creative workshops in London galleries, museums and educational facilities. Nikki has exhibits regularly in London, putting on large-scale exhibitions, interactive workshops and community projects for all ages and abilities both inside London and in the South-East.

Since graduating from Kingston University in 2015, alongside creating her own work, Illustrator, Animator and Artist Facilitator Lauren Veevers has been involved in delivering a wide range of arts workshops for people of all ages throughout the UK as well as further afield in Germany.


Lauren has been involved in teaching animation along with many other creative processes such as printmaking, still life drawing and model making, working in a wide range of locations from onboard historic boats to galleries to a wooden hut in the middle of Kew Gardens!

Assistant Artist Facilitator and recent graduate from the University of York, Tascha von Uexkull regularly facilitates workshops and events for children and families in London museums, as well as assisting artists to deliver adult workshops. Tascha has led a variety of creative workshops for children, including pottery classes, craft sessions, and storytelling, in institutions ranging from Kenwood House to the Camden Arts Centre. 


Tascha also maintains her own artistic practice and is particularly engaged with art journaling, through which she produces collage, art poems, drawings, and embroidery.
